The use of lashes is also a great option for individuals who may think their lashes are too short or not full enough even with the help of mascara. What types of lashes are out in the market?
In today’s market, there are different types of eyelash services. Here are a few that can help you decide which one is right for you. Once you have chosen the right one for you it will be easier to determine the one that you’d like to try. There is no right or wrong the only factor in play here is preference.
Eyelash extensions – these are semi-permanent, applied strand by strand to your natural eyelashes. Eyelashes help enhance your natural eye. Carefully applied one at a time typically from 90-130 per eye using a semi-permanent glue that shouldn’t irritate or damage the natural lash. The Lash is only applied to an existing lash, not the skin. The process takes anywhere from one to two hours depending on the desired volume. These lashes last up to six weeks
Eyelash lift or perm- A Lash perm also known as a lash lift curls your lash from the base to the tip so that you can see its full length. It should be done carefully by a licensed and certified professional. It’s a fast service that lasts four to six weeks and can transform your lashes in under one hour. Lash lift will enhance your natural Lashes at a minimal level. However, they won’t add texture, color, contour, shape, or dimension to your eyes and you must have at least 4mm in length to be able to get this service. This service last from four to six weeks.
Eyelash tinting– this technique is when a technician will brush dye onto your lashes to make them more noticeable it’s a good service for those that have blond or very light lashes. It takes about 15 minutes from start to finish. They last about three to four weeks. They are your natural lashes just enhanced with the dye.
Magnetic eyelash- These Lashes are easy to apply once you get the hang of it. At first, it can be a little challenging. These Lashes run the risk of losing the magnet and you will not be able to use them. I speak from personal experience and oh boy it’s so frustrating to be ready to go and lose a magnet because at this point they aren’t usable any longer. However, if you are very careful and the magnets are perfectly in place, they are reusable. They come in all sorts of sizes. There are two types of magnetic lashes one that is applied with eyeliner and another one that is allied with actual magnets.
The problem I ran into with these is that when too close you can see the little magnets and sometimes the clasping of the magnets can pull your natural lash leaving you with a sensation of hair being pulled. These lashes are good to reuse over and over. They are easy to find at stores or online and you can apply them yourself with practice. Prices range from fifteen dollars and up.
Strip lashes- Strip Lashes are the most common. They are easy to apply and you can take them off every day, clean them and reapply them the next day. All you need is the lash strip, tweezers, and eyelash glue. Prices are very affordable from three dollars and up. However, when you look down it is almost a guarantee you will see the strip of unnatural eyelashes making these my least favorite to use. Recently many have been applying these same strip lashes under the lash as opposed to on top of them to give it a more natural look. It is something I have not yet tried but I hear many love it.
And Drum Roll Please! My favorite type of Lashes!
Under Lash line lashes! These are my favorite types of lashes for several reasons. For starters, they look so natural! It makes others wonder “are they real or fake?” They are so easy to apply it takes me about five minutes and I’m ready to go. I can leave them on for about a week or two, maybe even more if I am careful. Once I am ready to rub my eyes and remove them for a bit all I need to do is wash them and re-apply them. I can reuse them repeatedly.
The range of price is from ten dollars and up. All you need is the clusters, a good quality bond, and a seal that is applied to your own lashes without damaging them to help them stay for as long as possible without bugging you. Last but not least you will need eyelash tweezers the ones with an angle to help you apply them easily. The clusters stick to your lashes and you’re ready to go. You can sleep with them and wake up looking fabulous cutting time down on your everyday routine. They are way affordable and they look fantastic.
How to remove them?
Start by removing them from your eyelashes by pushing back on the top of your lash towards your skin you will see the bottom of the eyelash lift, I recommend doing this before you jump in the shower or even as you are in the shower so the steam of the hot water can soften the glue, As you lift upward the lash will come right of.
Things you Need to Clean Them.
there are two methods on cleaning your lash clusters.it is very simple all you need is a small container, alcohol, a small brush, and a lint-free cloth, or simply just shampoo and glue remover.
How to Clean Them?
Option one. Once your under-the-line lashes are in a small container add a generous amount of alcohol to soak them. Move them around. You will start seeing little black specks, that is the glue coming off from the eyelash. Use the glue remover to wipe each individual cluster, and wash them with water and mild soap. Allow them to dry, once dry, they are ready to be reused.
Make sure your eyelashes are free from the glue remover to avoid your clean clusters to fall off when you reapply due to excess oils from the remover on your own lashes. Wash your own lashes with mild soap, rinse, and dry. If you miss this step the clusters will not stick to your lashes with the bond.
When I started using these lashes I would remove them before showering and with the cotton ball and a dab of the remover would remove the glue from my own lash so I can go in the shower and rub my eyes as I washed my face. However, I have found that If I remove them in the shower I am able to wash the clusters individually without any product and just with the hot water/steam and shampoo. I take a cotton ball with glue remover into the shower to then remove the glue from my own lashes and enjoy being able to rub my eyes under the running water. and cut down on cleaning time.
In a hurry?
as I mention above. Sometimes when I’m in a hurry I just wash them individually while in the shower with my shampoo, I let them dry while I get ready then I re-apply. easy peasy. If there’s no need to wash your clusters, shower normally, however, avoid water on your lashes or really hot steam showers. this will soften the glue and make them fall off after your shower. Avoid saunas or steam rooms.
Conclusion
These lashes will leave others thinking “are they real o fake?” they won’t break the bank, they are simple to put on and take off, taking a total of 5 minutes or less. They are reusable you can sleep with them and leave them on for long periods of time without even noticing them. I absolutely love these lashes and I most likely will only be using these for many years until something better comes out. so don’t wait to give them a try you will fall in love with them and cut down on your getting ready time.
